Cathedrals. The cello. Cheeks that cramp from smiling and warm tears that flow down them. Traditions. Hand-me-down cake toppers and 80s wedding dresses with puffy sleeves. A (tasteful) amount of country music. Wedding cake washed down with a crisp glass of champagne. Stories told the morning after with a hot cup of joe in hand and on every anniversary in the family text thread thereafter.

I love weddings. Every early-morning-getting-ready jitter. All of the tearful, chin-quivering ceremony vows. The long-anticipated reunions of friends and family. And of course, every second of a miller-lite-fueled end-of-the-night rendition of Mr. Brightside.

What I Love

Why I Love Them

I love the stories they carry. They exist in that sacred space between honoring those people who have loved you into who you are and ushering in a new love that will bear all the more. Every wedding, and every marriage, deepens, stretches, softens, and grows richer with time, and capturing that story in its infancy with hopeful anticipation is my greatest joy.

A family of three, consisting of a woman, man, and young child, sharing a kiss outdoors during fall, with trees with autumn leaves in the background.

Who I Love

These sweet people right here!!! They are the light of my life and my favorite love story to date (sorry I am biased).

I was born and raised right here in Kansas City, attended Benedictine College where I studied Marketing and Finance, met my husband there and the rest is history. Now we are raising two little humans, and my favorite part of our wedding anniversary every year is showing them our wedding video.

Let’s get your love story on film too…shall we?
